Covid 19 have shown increase mortality and morbidity in renal transplant patients by 20-30-% so tese tips may help to overcome covid 19 infection in transplant patient. Prevention is better than care.

Social distancing, avoid crowd, avoid eating with other( much vulnerable as mask is taken out)

Hand washing befor intering house, before touching your face, befor eating

Do not go out unless necessary

Were n95 mask, face shield outside house

Don’t use over the counter drugs

Don’t use NSAID for fever

If myalgia, fever, sore throat go and test for covid rtpcr

Many alternative medication can change the level of your drugs so avoid use. 

Don’t use immunbooster drug as it may increase your immunity and cause rejection of graft. Like Ashwagandha is a immune booster have good effect in general population but had been reported graft rejection in transplant patients.

Don’t use excessive vitamin c as it may cause oxalosis and harm your kidney

Ramdesevir can be use in kidney disease patients and in transplant patient when indicated

Excessive use of gurjo (tinospora cordifolia) have cause hypotension and altered Tacrolimus or immunosuppresent level

If covid positive do not panic in 80 percent of case it have minor symptoms

In covid positive consult you doctor in phone –need to adjust immunosuppression some drug to be withdrawn and some need to adjust dose

Take plenty of fluid, stem inhalation, good balance diet, 

Can take paracetamol and decongestant

If shortness of breath or breathlessness immediately go to hospital, oxygen saturation below 94% need especial attention.

Covid 19 Vaccination- (live vaccine should be avaoided)upcoming vaccine are not live vaccine they can be taken but still the trial of vaccine in transplant recipient are limited so have to wait till more result come.
