Dr Sumit Acharya MBBS, FCPS, FISN is a Consultant nephrologist and renal transplant physician with over 10 years of experience in the field. He has good experience in renal critical care, living and deceased donor renal and pancreatic transplantation, CAPD insertion, Hemodialysis, Renal biopsy, and permanent hemodialysis catheter insertion. He excels in managing chronic kidney disease, lupus nephritis, recurrent UTI, recurrent Renal stone, dyselectrolytemia (hyponatremia, hyponatremia, hypernatremia and hypokalemia) and complex conditions. He has an interest in renal transplantation and has managed more than 1300 post-transplant renal transplant recipients. He has contributed in multiple journals and conferences. He is fellow of CPSP (College of physician and surgeon of Pakistan) and ISN (International society of Nephrology). He is registered in British medical council (GMC) and had undertaken International Training Fellowship in Advance Renal Transplant ST6 approved by the Royal College of Physicians of London in Manchester royal infirmary, UK.
